Clear Port Statistics

The Clear Port Statistics screen (see Figure 3-15) allows you to reset port counters

that are displayed in the Port Statistics screen to zero. You can choose to reset the

port counters for a speciﬁc port or for all ports.

Deferred Packets: Indicates the total number of frames that were delayed on the ﬁrst transmission

attempt, but never incurred a collision.

Late Collisions: Indicates the total number of packet collisions that occurred after a total length of

time that exceeded 512 bit-times of packet transmission.
